Ok, but what is this specific thingy about?

I bought supplies to make my own EEG around 5 years ago when I was just finishing my engineering degree. I finally have the time and brain-space-vacuum to work on the project. These are my supplies:

• Arduino Mega
• Raspberry Pi
• Cheap Oscilloscope
• Multimeter
• JFET IC OpAmp 14DIP TL084BCN
• Disposable Gold 9mm Cup EEG Electrode 40” 10 pack from DyMedix
• Resistors:

• Transistor (I think?) TO-92
• AD620AN
  • No luck :(( I think they just don’t work
